Things I love about Shezhen Part 1.
McDonald’s, although it’s expensive, 20 RBM approx 140 PHP for the Double Cheeseburger Meal (Large Fries and Softdrink).

The “Cute Stuff Stores” at Dong Men, they even give you VIP cards which entitles you to a 10% discount.

Shoes Ok I love shoes even if I’m not here at China. I think they have more variety here though. And, I don’t get why Nike shoes and other items are more expensive here than in the Philippines.

The Shenzhen Metro. It’s so convenient to ride it. Currently it has two lines but 3 new lines is under construction.

Sale/Discounts/Bargains!
This K-Swiss shoes caught my eye at Moi at Huaqianglu, I couldn’t buy it because it costs 670+ RMB (4,700+ PHP). After about a week I saw it again at another store here at Dong Men and it was on sale, 40% OFF! It costs me 372 RMB only!

The Lotus flower because it’s one of my favorite flowers.

Snow. Ok, so the weather here at Shenzhen is as annoying as the weather in the Philippines, sometimes even more annoying, I don’t trust the weather forecast here either nor the clouds outside the hotel room. It doesn’t snow here but they have snow at Windows of the World a park here at Shenzhen.

Lots of places to take photos

Ni hao ma.
Maybe surrounded by
A million people I
Still feel all alone
I just wanna go home
- Home, Michael Buble
Ok, I’m not really home sick… well I don’t think so, it’s just that I want to go home but then I don’t really want to. It’s hard to explain.
I don’t really want to stay here, but then I don’t want to go back to reality back home. No more free laundry, no more free ride to work and back, no more free buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and no more hotel room service.
But I miss my family, my friends, the food in the Philippines (I want Pork Sinigang, Chicken Pork Adobo, Green Mangoes, Lechon Kawali, Bulalo +++) and the Friday night inuman sessions.
I have three weeks left, it actually feels like eternity sometimes then on other times it feels like everything passes by too fast.
Title, Ni hao ma, is How are you? in Mandarin.
Nomnom.
The Tasty Buffet at the 5th F of Coastal City, Nanshan is really good. Western, Chinese and Japanese food (my type of food!).
Pictures soon!
Kara-OK.

Last night our assistants brought us to Evergreen Resort at Nanshan for dinner, the food was good, hao ch?, and for karaoke too! It was a celebration of Sir Tony and Ms. Tin’s birthday. Our Laoshi’s and assistants also sang!
Videos soon…
The circular ones on the cakes are melons, the white with black dots is called the dragon fruit which happens to be the national fruit here. I like the candles!!!

The above photo was taken at the Culture Village.
This is our assistant Kerry, Xiao Qing. She’s very sweet and nice.

Love Lockdown.
My feet, legs and arms are really tired from all the walking and shopping I’ve been doing, I want to go home before I spend all my dollars here.
Bought Wii + Wii Fit yesterday, after Machy’s “Stop eating!” comment, I felt obliged to do something about my weight damn it. LOL.
One thing I can’t live without is internet and now that I’m here in China I make it a point to always check out Ms. Cecile’s blog so that somehow I’m still connected back home.
The Kanye West sneakers which can be found on her blog are…. lovely!
I love these two the most. I’m a sucker for anything pink and brown.

2008-09 NBA Title goes to Los Angeles Lakers.
And I would like to quote Richard
“Thank you Boston for last year’s humiliation. Thank you Memphis for Pau. Thank you Utah for letting Fish go back. Thank you Orlando for Trevor. Thank you Houston and Denver for prepping the team for the Finals! yeaaaah!”
Congratulations!
Ooooh photos.
Here are some photos, I haven’t uploaded the ones I took yet, I’m too lazy.
We used to stay at Shan Shui Trends Hotel, these two photos were taken at Oli’s room, 7035. Last Saturday we moved to Metro Park which is way better, hihi, I have a bath tub!

This was taken at the training center, we’re 7 in my group, and there’s the BSS group and the 3G group.

This is our assistant, Kerry. She’s very sweet.

This was taken at a park, I forgot the name of the park, it was so hot we rode this boat for 35 RMB.

The MTR. I love Shenzhen’s MTR, it’s so convenient and cost only 2 RMB from Hua Qiang Lu to Da Ju Yuan. The different MTR lines are also connected.

I’m getting a Wii this afternoon. I’m so broke.
Every Sunday we go to a tourist place here in Shenzhen c/o trainers. On our first weekend we went to Culture Village and yesterday we went to Happy Valley. This one was taken at the Culture Village!
